Today on our 2018 Toyota Sienna we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness.This kit is going to provide your trailer with the proper lighting functions as you're pulling it down the road. Not only keep you safe, but legal.Now, one thing I really like about this wiring kit, and what kind of separates from some of the others, is that it's going to use a module box. What that's going to do is protect your factory wiring, and for short we're going to cur on the trailer. Now it comes with a heavy duty dust cap which will help keep your terminals protected and corrosion free. If you want to go a step further I'd recommend every now and again putting some dielectric grease on them.Now our wiring is going to have a power output of 2.1 amps per circuit for our stop and turn signals, and 7.5 amps per circuit for our tail lights. more

Speaker 1: Today on this 2017 Toyota Sienna, we're gonna be having a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T connector vehicle wiring harness with a four pole, flat trailer connector, part number C56261. Here's what our wiring looks like installed. As you can see, when it's not in use, it's designed to store inside the vehicle, inside the compartment where our third row seats will fold down into so you have full access to your trunk. When you want to use it, you can simply pull it out, set it to the side of your hatch latch avoiding it so it doesn't get pinched or damaged. We'll lay it flat over our weather stripping and then we can close the hatch over it. As you'll see here, we have a plenty long wire, which gets down right next to the receiver on our hitch so it can easily hook up to our trailer. more

Speaker 1: Today, on this 2016 Toyota Sienna, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with a 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, Part Number 118648. Here's what a wiring looks like installed. When it's not in use, we can store it out of the elements and out of the way in our jack storage compartment. To access it, we'll open our compartment, pull our wiring out, we'll place it to the side of the latch for our hatch, that way when we close the latch over it, it won't get caught in there and get pinched. And as you can see, we'll have an adequate length of wiring to reach down by the receiver on our hitch. We have this nice dust cover that covers it up when it's not in use. more

Today in our 2014 Toyota Sienna, we'll be installing a Tekonsha T one vehicle wiring harness with a four pole flat trailer connector. Part number 118498.Speaker 2: Okay, right now we have our wire drake out of our trunk area to the side of our latch. We're going to go ahead and close our trunk. As you can see, we have an adequate length wire to hang down here next to our hitch, to connect to our trailer. Once we hook up to our trailer here, and plug our lighting in our electrical connector, from our trailer into our wiring harness, then we're ready to hit the rode. When we arrive at our destination, we unhook from our trailer, and we're ready to store our wiring back inside the vehicle. We'll plug the dust cover back over our connector here. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Toyota Sienna- Video
Today on our 2009 Toyota Sienna, we're going to show you how to install the "CURT T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector," part number is C55580. Here's what our wiring kit's going to look like when we pull it out of the package. Here, you can see our 4 flat trailer connector. This is what we need to get tail lights, brakes and blinker signals to either a trailer or cargo carrier or something of that nature. It uses a converter box that you can see here, which takes signal from our passenger side, from our driver side, and it converts it into a usable signal that we'll have here at the plug. The factory-style connectors simply clip directly in-line between our already existing connectors, so there's no need at all to modify the vehicle's wiring. You'll see here we've got a little ground wire, self-tapping screws provided that we can use to go through that ring terminal to get it secure or we may also have the option of simply using an existing stud underneath the vehicle. They've also provided us with some zip ties and some double-sided foam tape to help us along with our installation. more

Today on our 2016 Toyota Sienna, we're going to be showing you how to install the CURT t-connector vehicle wiring harness with the four pull flat trailer connector. Part number is C56261. Our four pull plug, when we're ready for use, we'll just bring it over and let it sit right over the set rubber gasket there. That allows it to be held in place nicely. We're able to close our door there on top and then just pull out whatever that it is that we need. When not in use, what we can do is coil up that wire, just like that, bring that cap around and then we can use that to hold our wiring nice and tightly right here. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Toyota Sienna- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at and installing the T-One 4-pole flat trailer connector and wiring harness for the 2013 Toyota Sienna, part number 118498. Right now we're going to take a look at the wiring as you pull it out of the package, so that way you'll understand where each wire goes, and how it all comes together. The yellow wire with the white on it will go to the driver's side. The red, brown, and the green with the four ends on it is going to go to the passenger's side. You will have your ground wire in the center, your power wire, the 12 volt that you will use with the black wire here, connecting it with the butt connector and taking it up to the front of the vehicle. We'll explain that here in a second. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Toyota Sienna C56106- Video
Today on our 2014 Toyota Sienna we'll be installing the CURT t-connector vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number C56106. To begin our install we're first going to open up the hatch. We need to remove the two rear taillight assemblies. Each assembly has two fasteners that will have to be removed in order to take the taillight assembly out. You can make it a little easier if you use a flat blade screwdriver but we're just going to use a plastic trim panel tool, get in between the taillight and the body of the vehicle, gently prying it free. Then we'll go ahead and turn the taillight assembly over. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2000 Toyota Sienna- Video
Today on our 2000 Toyota Sienna, we'll be installing the Curt T-connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number C55418. Now to begin our install, we'll first go ahead and open up the rear hatch. Next, I'm going to remove the rear cargo carpeting or liner just to get it out of the way. Then I'm going to remove the rear threshold, you can use a flat blade screwdriver, we're going to use our interior trim panel tool, we'll start on one corner, getting underneath the threshold, popping it free as I work my way over to the other side. Here you can see the fasteners that we released. Note sometimes they'll stay in inside the sheet metal, if that's the case we'll just pop them out and reinstall them into the threshold. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Sienna well be installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with Four-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number C56106. Now when you need to use your four flat for towing youll simply pull it out of the storage area, set it here across the rear threshold area, keeping it away from the center latch mechanism as it can damage the wire. Well then go ahead and close the rear hatch. Now when youre done towing you simply raise the rear hatch. When youre not using your four flat its a good idea to put the wire out of the way into a storage area to keep it from being damaged. Well first begin by raising the rear hatch of the vehicle. Next well need to remove both taillight assemblies by removing the two screws located here inside the hatch area. Next were going to need to slide the taillight assembly out. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2004 Toyota Sienna- Video
Today on our 2004 Toyota Sienna well be installing the Tow Ready T1 vehicle wiring harness with four pole flat trailer connector, part number 118304. To begin our install well first open up the rear cargo hatch. Then well remove the rear taillight assemblies by removing the two fasteners that secure it. Once we have them removed using a flat bladed screwdriver or a small plastic pry tool well gently pry out on the taillight assembly to release the fasteners underneath. Now with our taillight assembly free well go ahead and remove the manufacturers wiring harness from the taillight assembly by pressing on the locking tab for the connector and removing it from the taillight assembly. Now well go ahead and repeat the same process on the other side. more

Today on this 2006 Toyota Sienna were going to install part number 118304 from Tow Ready. To start our install well open up the back hatch and then well go ahead and remove both taillights. Well also remove the vehicles rear threshold and then well also have to loosen up the side panels as well to get access to the wiring. On the passengers side well have to get through the jack storage compartment to get access to the wiring. At this point we can go ahead and start installing the T connector. Well start on the passengers side and run the wire with the red and green up to the passengers side taillight. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2011 Toyota Sienna- Video
Today we will be working on a 2011 Toyota Sienna. We will be installing Tow Ready T-one connector part number 118498. We are going to start by accessing the rear cargo area of the van. And we need to remove both taillight assemblies. They are each mounted with two 10 millimeter bolts. You can see this gives us access to the rear taillight wiring. I am going to go ahead and disconnect the lens from them now. On each connection, there is a small locking tab that must be depressed before disconnecting. I am going to go ahead and set my taillight lens assembly aside for now. We will reinstall that later. Now I am going to go repeat the same process on the passenger side. Next we want to remove the three cargo hooks so that we can remove this rear threshold. I am going to repeat the same process for the next two. Now that we have our cargo hook hold downs removed, we can go ahead and remove the rear trim panel. We will set that out of our way. You can see it gives us access to route our wiring from the driver to the passenger side. 0:55 more

The ports we are going to be plugging our wiring harness into are located directly behind the tail lights here at the rear of the vehicle. The wiring plugs for this T connector are going to be located behind the plastic here. You can either: a, access them behind the tail light or take off the tail light and get to them that way and run them straight down. Or, in this case, we are going to go behind the plastic and install everything on the inside. First off, we are going to go ahead and take off the thresh hold right here so we can take out the side panels. Alright, undo a couple of screws for the panels. Take off this panel here and there is an additional screw back here you can loosen the panel, the whole rear interior quarter panel with. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Toyota Sienna- Video
Today we are going to install part number 118304 from Tow Ready. On a 2008 on a Toyota Sienna Mini Van. The first thing we are going to do is remove the tail lights. We will start on the passenger side then work our way over to the driver side. To remove the tail light we have to push down on this pin and pull the connector out. We will go ahead and do the same thing for the other side. The next thing we need to do is to remove this trim panel here. There are 3 of these latches we have to remove all the way across from left to right. Once we have those 3 latches removed we can now take off this back part of trim panel. You have to pry it out and lift it up at the same time and it will come loose. Now at this point we need to pull this panel away. more
